What is mealworm frass?
Mealworm frass is the excrement or manure produced by mealworms. It has a brown, sandy-like appearance and is often used as a natural fertilizer due to its nutrient content.

Is the mealworm frass you sell processed or treated in any way?
No, the mealworm frass sold is completely natural and unprocessed. It is simply separated from the mealworms and packaged without any chemical additives, heat treatment, or adjustments.

Does mealworm frass have an odor?
Unlike animal manure, mealworm frass does not have a foul smell. It is very benign and typically goes unnoticed, even when used indoors.

What is mealworm frass and how is it produced?
Mealworm frass is the waste produced by mealworms as they eat and grow. Mealworms are raised in trays where they are provided with food. As they consume this food, they produce frass, which consists of their excrement and leftover food particles. Once the mealworms have grown, the frass is separated from them through a sifting process, allowing for the collection of this nutrient-rich byproduct.
